(Affiliated to CBSE, Delhi) Established in 1973, the school has attained a reputation in imparting quality education to the rural youths for achieving their optimum in human resource development. This has been possible because of sound Management and a team of highly committed and qualified staff. Besides comprehensive and qualitative education, the main objective of the school is to acquaint our children with the true spirit of Sikhism and philosophy of the Sikh way of life. For the spiritual growth of our youngsters, Gurbani, Shabad Kirtan, teachings of the ten Gurus are a part of our curriculum.

All Gurupurabs are celebrated with great zeal by the students and teachers. The day begins with the morning assembly with recitation of Gurbani Shabad followed by Ardas as per Sikh traditions, seeking the blessings of Waheguru, before the formal teaching learning process begins. The Gurudwara in the school is a light-house for every student for his spiritual growth in Sikh heritage. The school campus is spaciously spread over an area of 5 acres with beautiful lush green lawns, a children's park, a play ground for all major games, a track of 200 mt. which has earned us singular distinction of hosting the Athletic Meet of CKD for the four consecutive years.

The school building comprises of two double-storey and three triple- storey blocks with 73 rooms which include offices, library, three fully equipped labs, two computer rooms, music room, art room and an activity room for Ny & KG students. It is an English medium co-educational Sr. Sec. School affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi, upto +2 level having Medical, Non-Medical and Commerce streams. The school has 1600 students on its roll with a committed and dedicated staff of 67 members. Efforts are made to train our students for competitive exams both of state and central level. In sports our girls have won one gold and seven bronze medals in the National Athletic Meet of CBSE which took place at Madras in Dec. 2000. As regards the sports meet of Chief Khalsa Diwan, we have been the over all undisputed champions in sports and Athletics for the last four consecutive years. Inculcating the qualities of leadership, co-operation, tolerance and democratic outlook, healthy competitions in co-curricular activities are organized through inter-house competitions.

A new block "Hari Singh Nalwa Block" is under construction which is to be completed this year. The school has earned a reputation of being a prestigious public school in and around Tarn Taran known for its high academic and moral standards.
