This school was established
and situated in rural area in 1998. Old name of
this school was JAMTA PUBLIC SCHOOL. Miss Pritam
Kaur Khalsa is the Principal of this school. Her
education qualification is MA in Pol. Sc., MA
in Punjabi and B.Ed. She was also Principal of
the school from beginning while its name was JANTA
PUBLIC SCHOOL.
• To develop students
high standards of morality, ethics and Sikh Culture
as taught by our great Gurus and laid down in
the holy GURU GRANTH SAHIB Jl, this institution
is situated at Majhwind-Gopal, Batala road (about
15 km away from Amritsar ) It is affiliated to
CBSC . vide code No. 1630346 and established
itself among the well known schools with the mission
of providing modern and quality Education in the
rural area, it was opened with the help of residents
of village Majhwind on 29 Mar 1996 in 2 acres
of land to fulfill the demand of the region. It
was placed under the Management of Chief Khalsa
Diwan, Amritsar on 28 Mar 1998. The school has
a triple storey building. The main block of the
school consists of 32 well-ventilated room, first
aid room, staff room, art and music room, computerized
administrative block with internet facilities,
book shop and canteen.
3 To maintain hygienic conditions
in the school, two water coolers are provided
to the student's alongwith aqua-guard. The school
imparts education upto X std with the total strength
of students is approx 700. The school has a well
qualified teaching and non teaching staff.. The
Management, Principal and teaching/non teaching
staff have always making efforts to uplift the
backward and neglected sections of the society
and also helps them financially to the weak students.
With the sincere and laborious work of staff,
our students have always shown 100% results.
4. Along with studies, the activities
linked with sports, religion and culture also
get special emphasis. There is a spacious playground
for adequate sports facilities for games likes
Badminton, Table Tennis, Kho- kho, Volleball,
Basketball and Football. Active house-wise competitions
are also organized. For the divine and spiritual
upliftment, a decent well designed Gurdwara building
is within the school campus. Nagar Kirtan and
educational tours are also arranged every year.
